Deovanni Miranda, PNR’s general manager, said that the additional trips are in response to President Ferdinand Marcos’ order to give service to commuters and devotees to join the Peñafrancia Festival on Sept. 20 and 21.

The first trip from Iriga City to Naga City will be at 11:15 a.m. The second trip will be at 3:15 p.m.

Meanwhile, the additional trips from Naga City to Iriga City will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

There were no new additional trips from Albay province, however. The first and only trip from Legazpi City will remain at 4:30 a.m., while the only trip from Naga City to Legazpi City will be at 5:30 p.m.

On Sept. 20, the Peñafrancia Fluvial Procession will start at 3 p.m. from the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral to the Basilica Minore via the Naga River.
